Well a square postcard, if such a thing exists! Another weekend, and an official photowalk in County Cork coming up. It’s lovely to have a native to bring me to the best bits of Ireland, and hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be returning the favour on the other side of the water :)

Today I went along to my first wwkip day in Stephen’s Green, and learned to crochet from the fabulous author of Thread Bear’s Picnic, very chuffed indeed :D

It’s just rain, not tears ;) I’m considering a japanese maple for the balcony but apparently will have to get a ‘weeping’ style, small one that will be more likely to survive the elements – and also my well intentioned but ultimately poor plant care :/

Taken today at Bloom, the rain didn\\’t stop the flowers from being beautiful – or the crowds from materialising! More here.

This flower shop has stands left outside over the weekends, when it is closed. That’s a sleepy little village for you!

Unfortunately I’m not able to attend the Bloom photowalk but I do look forward to visiting the event this weekend, and hopefully seeing a riot of colour in the show gardens. p.s. this shot taken at the Airfield photowalk a wee while ago, yes I’m still going through those shots too!
