It’s still daylight when I leave the office, cherries are back in season, and it’s the maritime festival next weekend. These things are inextricably linked, and all of them make me happy :D

I’ve had this shot in my ‘blog cache’ folder for a while now, winking at me. It’s one of those ‘quiet’ ones that didn’t jump out at me on first pass, but caught my attention when i looked through the raw files the second time around.

A friend actually spotted this first but I couldn’t pass it up so we took a few shots side by side :)
