From a hotel we stayed in last year, somewhere not far from Ballymaloe where we attended a fantastic wedding party. Could do with a sight like that just now…

They had liquorice comfits. Liquorice comfits that were soft enough to chew without hurting your jaw, but hard enough to give a satisfying crunch. It’s upstairs from a clothes/jewellery shop on Crown Alley, Temple Bar – pop in and see if they have an old favourite of yours ;)
