treasures abound
It was all about the rummaging for me this weekend.
A friend asked if i’d like to go along to the vintage market at airfield and although i wouldn’t really consider myself a vintage market kind of person, i love that place (and the thought of a slice of cake in the cafe sounded appealing too) so i went along. I was really impressed, there was a marquee area outside, plus three rooms inside the building that were full of handmade and vintage stalls and the quality and price of the stuff was very reasonable. I was very proud of myself for walking away from at least three pretty brooches, but I did cave in and buy a cake stand at a really decent price – and also some faux-vintage wooden spools that i found in the permanent shop on the premises – remember my last post about styling and props? ;)
Love this for the whispy-ish feel in it and don’t understand why it made me think of Danny.
