I’m probably going to keep going with the christmas stuff all week…

The problem with decorating a gingerbread house as an adult is that you’re now supposed to be the responsible one who doesn’t let you eat all the decorations. Fail.

It all got a bit martha in our living room last night as i finally tried out a few wrapping techniques i’ve been thinking about for ages – if you fancy a bit of inspiration yourself, you might find it here (warning – lots of bakers twine and kraft paper)…

The highlight of a trip to Cork City Gaol was the abandoned and free-to-wander-in building we found round the back of the grounds :D

It was a struggle to make it out to Tankardstown house yesterday but what a day for a beautiful winter wedding, it was gorgeous surrounded by snow and inside, the fires were blazing and the fairy lights were twinking…
